The vocal quartet leads us into last century\u2019s pure tradition, the vital and powerful root of much of contemporary music<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lyrics<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There&#8217;s not a Friend like the lowly Jesus: <br>\nNo, not one! no, not one! <br>\nNone else could heal all our souls&#8217; diseases: <br>\nNo, not one! no, not one!\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus knows all about our struggles; <br>\nHe will guide &#8217;til the day is done: <br>\nThere&#8217;s not a Friend like the lowly Jesus: <br>\nNo, not one! no, not one!\u202f <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tradizionale<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-red-color wp-block-paragraph\">Altro esempio di un inno tradizionale che si veste di blues, questo brano si inserisce perfettamente nei colori del nostro CD.<br>\nL\u2019ambiente nel quale ci troviamo ricorda il Sud rurale degli States, ma anche la sua trasformazione urbana durante le grandi migrazioni verso il nord industrializzato e \u201clibero\u201d del primo dopoguerra.<br>\nA differenza del Gospel contemporaneo \u201ckeyboard leaded\u201d  &#8211; condotto dalla tastiera del pianoforte o dell\u2019organo hammond \u2013 qui sono la chitarra e l\u2019armonica che danno il colore al quadro, ed il quartetto vocale ci trasporta nel pieno della tradizione dello scorso secolo, radice potente e vitale di tanta musica contemporanea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Testi<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Non c\u2019\u00e8 un amico come l\u2019umile Ges\u00f9: <br>\nNo, nemmeno uno, nemmeno uno<br>\nNessun altro pu\u00f2 guarire tutti i malanni della nostra anima <br>\nNo, nemmeno uno, nemmeno uno<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ges\u00f9 conosce tutto dei nostri dispiaceri, <br>\nSar\u00e0 una guida fino alla fine della giornata<br>\nNon c\u2019\u00e8 un amico come l\u2019umile Ges\u00f9,<br>\nNo, nemmeno uno, nemmeno uno<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Traditional This other example of a traditional hymn dressed up in a blues suit that fits perfectly in the colours of our CD.
